This Week’s Collect

Add this prayer to your personal devotions as you prepare for our worship together.
This Week's Collect

Almighty God, on this day you opened the way of eternal life
to every race and nation by the promised gift of your Holy
Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the
preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the
earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns
with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever
and ever. Amen.

Becoming Community through Transition

This is a reminder that we are counting on you to gather the information needed to help St. Paul’s define our mission within our community. Please reach out to people within Oakwood and the greater Dayton area, and ask these questions:

What do you know about St. Paul’s?

What is the first word that comes to mind?

What do you think is the greatest need of our community?

What advice would you give to the leaders of the church… How could we better be part of or support the community?

The questionnaire is crucial to our current process. The information collected will help us to shape our goals, as well as write our parish profile when the time comes to begin the search for a new rector. Please share what you learn with the church office.
Thank you! –Rev. Jean Vargo
